Janet's New Tour

Now that Janet Jackson's new album debuted at number one, making a total of six chart-toppers, she's ready to hit the road.

Janet told Billboard.com that's she'll promote her "Discipline" CD with a tour that will kick off in mid-September. She'll cover North America first, then hit Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa.

Janet didn't tour to support her last album, "20 Y.O.," and she wants to make up for that by putting on a really big show.

She's also working on a book that will delve into her weight problems. It should be out by the time the U.S. tour begins.
